These delightful prints retain their original hand colouring and are presented in what appear to be their original black ebonised wooden frames, giving them wonderful decorative appeal as well as historical interest. Complete narrative sets such as this are seldom found together after more than 200 years.

Published in London by P. Stamper, Derrington Street, these prints date to the Regency period, circa 1815–1825.

Condition

A genuine untouched antique collection showing the honest wear expected after two centuries. There is age toning, foxing and some rippling to the paper, together with wear and minor losses to the original frames. One frame has an old corner repair. These age-related imperfections simply add to their authenticity and character.
