A charming and highly decorative Lynton Shape Clarice Cliff ‘Summer’s End’ coffee service, produced by Wilkinson Ltd, England, during the Art Deco period, circa 1930s.

Beautifully hand-painted with stylised flowers in warm shades of orange and yellow, complemented by soft green banding and rich brown rims. The distinctive ribbed forms and elegant conical coffee pot lid perfectly capture the playful sophistication of British Art Deco pottery.

The service comprises:

  • One coffee pot with original lid

  • Six coffee cups

  • Six matching saucers

  • One milk jug

  • One sugar bowl

Condition:

The coffee pot, including its lid and spout, is in excellent condition. There is a chip to one cup, a chip to one saucer and an old, noticeably repaired break to the sugar bowl. These imperfections are reflected in the asking price.

An increasingly collectable example of early 20th-century British design, this delightful service would make a wonderful addition to a Clarice Cliff collection or a striking display in an Art Deco-inspired interior.

A beautiful piece of British ceramic history, full of colour, character and period charm.
