A particularly beautiful detail is the original woven metallic trim decorating both the brim edge and the base of the crown. The trim appears to be woven gold toned metal thread and gives the hat a distinctly luxurious Parisian theatrical elegance.

Condition:
Good antique condition with age related wear throughout including marks wear to velvet and interior ageing as shown. Minor losses and wear to areas of trim. Structurally displays beautifully. Silk has split in the crown lining (no real problem!). Please study photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
