A charming late 19th- or early 20th-century Anglo-Indian silver mustard or condiment pot, probably Indian and possibly from the Kashmir or Kutch tradition.
The body is richly decorated in repoussé with a rural village scene including thatched buildings and foliage, set against a finely stippled ground. It stands on three shaped feet and has a hinged lid with a small aperture for a condiment spoon.
